haven't updated in awhile. lets see graduated from massage school back in june and since then have been focusing on the wedding and looking for a job. wedding plans are going smooth so far with it being only 12 days away. anyone interested in coming your welcome too. its at sturges park in buffalo at 4 pm on 9/8/7. a reception will be following at the american legion in monticello. wow it comes quick. nothing much else here. i bet the rest of the lj world out there has some new and exciting things going on pass them ok

| wow its been awhile |

much has happened since the last time i updated this thing. i have two quarters left of school the one i am currently on and one more. the end is coming near it is rather nice. went through a hellish fall quarter but i got awesome grades and learned a lot which is rather awesome. um other news in life darron my boyfriend from the summer and i got engaged on september 15th 2006. woo hoo the wedding is september 8 2007 for 9/8/7(easy for darron to remember, so he says). the wedding plans are going awesome. got the bridesmaid dresses and the wedding dress (which darron hasnt seen) and the flower girl dress. got the reception( american legion) and wedding place (the park) booked along with the caterer, (his aunt) and the dj. i think most major things are covered which is nice. i just hope we can keep all of our wedding party outta jail til after the wedding. the boys are trouble makers i say. nothing to much else to say. its nice to have things to look forward to and good to have someone to be with as well. on the 19th we will celebrate our 7 month anniversary which seems a little less celebratory since the wedding is happening. Got some exciting things to look forward to though. Going to see Gary allan at the casino on the 30th woo hoo that is a good time and then it is darron's birthday on the 3rd of february. should be a fun evening.
well that about covers my excitement what about the rest of you anything exciting going on.
time for bed so i can get a nap in before work at 500 pm.

I have been so busy the last few weeks I forget to post my big news. Darron and I got engaged on the 15th of September at good ol' wally world and are getting hitched 9/8/7. We are both extremely excited and cant wait for it. I am really excited as I am starting my fourth quarter of classes are am going to be done June 21st 2007. Our wedding is going to very unique just like both of us and out relationship.
More on the the big as we plan things and figure them out I guess.

hey all i am looking for some advice. i want to take my boyfriend out on a date tomorrow but i want to do something different thing the typical dinner and a movie. i do want to talk him out to dinner of course but then after dinner i am looking for something to do. movie are great and all but you cant really talk and yeah it gets old doing the same thing all the time. if any of you have any good ideas please let me know i am really excited to here them. thanks much you'll

tonite was darron and i first real date since we have been together. we each have been rather excited about it and now that it is done wow what a good time was had by us all. we went to the olive garden in st cloud he had never been there and then hit up best buy to kill some time and for him to get some cds. then we went and saw the world trade center movie and wow was it sure good. it was a perfect evening and nice to be together like always. even though we missed taking care of our friends kids it sure is nice to go out just the two of us once in awhile as well. well tomorrow is my trip out to utah for jenny (my sister) and jared (her husband) graduation from college. should be a good time with the family but of course i will miss darron, and my kitties as well. well its 100 i have to get up for school in 6 hours and still finish packing everything should be an interesting day for me. hope as is well'

| wowers its been a while |

wow i have neglected lj for quite a while. my life has been pretty crazy the last couple months with school work and the boyfriend. school is really fun and exciting i cant wait to start practicing massage on everyone. work is going well like usual i picked up another job tutoring at all school to its 4 jobs now school and having a social life/ spending time with darron that keeps me so busy- and not sleeping enough. been with darron for 2 months on the 19th and its awesome. it is so nice to feel loved and to love someone it just makes you happy. so far this summer i traveled to minot north dakota to see Keith Urban once again who is so hot and yummy (even though is he married). went to wefest last weekend with darron and rob another coworker, it was really nice and fun. spending a whole weekend with darron and not working and getting to see some good concerts. watched gary allan, keith urban, big'n' rich, kenny chesney and trent tomlinson. all very good shows and a great weekend. midway through the quarter at school this week, only 6 more weeks til break week. next week my baby sister is graduating college with her husband and the entire family is heading to the ceremony will be a good time to see everyone.
my dad is getting anxious to talk to darron and find out the basics from him i guess and ask a few questions. lucky guy he is. daddy just is watching out for his girl i guess and i am sure you girls out there can relate.
nothing to much else here just hanging out with darron and working and schooling nothing to exciting with me. my life is very boring so i say but darron says otherwise. what a sweet guy he is. must be why everyone loves him and ooggles him.

meeting someone happens when you totally dont expect, count on it or even plan for it. there is this guy at work darron, and a few months back we started talking. in the last while we have continually gotten close and close and now yeah i am not really sure what is happening. i know its kinda confusing but its also really exciting. it weird after the horrible experience i went through with my ex chris i never wanted to jump back in the saddle again, for fear getting hurt, and also i dont think my heart could take another heartbreak to a million pieces and to try piece it back together. it is weird though with him its like natural. we are always talking to one another spending our days off together and always hanging out. i never planned for this to go any farther then a friendship but well sometimes things work out in mysterious ways. i am still kind of in shock about him telling me as all the things he talked about with this girl he liked were so special and its obvious that this girl was special only to find out it was me. i still cant believe this is happening but none the less it is still awesome since he is the sweetest guy in the whole world.
at this time only one thing comes to my head which is my favorite quote " to the world you might be somebody, but to somebody you might be there world."
also darron and i hang out so much that i am like almost not sleeping because of all my jobs and hanging with him. it is so worth it to hang out with him but yeah i gotta start being more responsible and not just heather with a schoolgirl crush on a boy who has one back on me. |

the last few weeks i have been hanging out with my coworker friend on our nights off and have been taking him to the bar, basically every tuesday and wednesday for the last 3 weeks. we have been exploring the bars all around buffalo but of course can't miss out on the hometown one. the local bar buffalo bar and grill where i held my birthday party has been the best one. every time we go there the bartender lady does not card us as we have been there several days in a row, and she recognizes us.
interestingly enough while i post this i wonder something. since we hang out on out nights off all the coworkers are like how long have you been going out? we are both like not to our knowledge are we going out just friends. i guess a guy and a girl cant really hang out together without people thinking something is going on. we each know we are good friends and that is all but there is something else that makes this interesting. whenever we go to the bar with friends the friends tell me he likes you, he's got a crush on you.
so now the question comes to play can it really be that a guy and girl can hang out and be friends and there be nothing between them or is there always that hidden undertone of boy/girl likingness going on.
for now we continue to hang out and i guess just see what the future holds. |

well today is my birthday and i am whopping 24 years old. i was so psyched to go out tonite on my birthday and have some fun but that didnt work as planned since i got my days messed up. i have to work tonite so i celebrated my birthday early, by going out to the bar with my friends. i had my birthday party at the local establishment buffalo bar and grill. thanks to everyone who came out and hung out with me. there was chris, sonja, ron, jenny, darron, nicole, james, heidi, dave, and of course me. what a fun time was had by all. it was so good to see everyone i hadnt seen in forever and hang out with my coworker friends outside work. i lost like 5 games of pool (i think) to darron so for a short guy he is pretty good. i got to take pics with most of the people there and then a group one so i can remember who all came and how much fun we had.
my birthday fun has only just begun as well woo hoo. ma got me a carebear ice cream cake from the dq yummy yummy yummy and who doesnt love carebears.
i must get some sleep to prepare for the rest of the day. school then supper at mexican village for free and ice cream cake woo hoo. then lucky me its back to work again what a birthday to remember.

this afternoon about 1245pm grandpa lost his fight with cancer and left this world for a better place. all the family members are heading out the oregon tomorrow to go to the funeral and be together. he was with my sister and his two children when he passed away. talking with most of my sisters they said they felt something about that time in there respective time zones and believed it was grandpa saying is final farewell. it is sad that he has passed but he is in a much better place right now, and it will be nice also to see the family. it will be hard though.

AS we all go about our lives busy as we may be just remember one thing. always remember to tell those that you love that you love them and that they are important to you since you never know when it might be your time to go. this comes on finding out that my grandpa has terminal lung cancer and has been said it will be 2 months before he passes away. our family is lucky enough to get a little bit of time left with him and almost everyone will be able to go and see him one last time and also to bid him farewell i guess. this is rather hard as grandpa is still so young and should have lots of time left. he is smoke for 67 years almost a pack a day so that has something to do with it i guess. this is the first family member that will de departing from us so it makes it a little hard. my dad has been taken it quite hard and that is understandable when your father is diagnosed with cancer and soon may pass away. it will be a good family bonding expereince. first to all go and see grandpa and also a good experience to be doing this together. i never realized hard it is to know a loved one is going to pass away. the emotions are unreal. i do know many have experienced this and made it through just fine. it is sure going to be sad though but at least we are all together.
i am not sure which is worse. the waiting until i get to go see him one last time or the knowing that after i see him soon after he will be gone from us. still its just to soon to have to let him go.
anyone with words of advice or comfort please share. |

took my finals from class yesterday and did ok. not exactly sure of grade yet but will find out next week on break. think i got one A and maybe a B in the other class or just missed it and got a C not really sure. anyway it is great school is done now, because vacation is here. i need to get trip stuff done today as i have to work a double shift today and leave tomorrow.
another cool thing on this day last year i got my tongue pierced again. had it done once before but had to take it out. since i had it pierced i have swallowed 3 metal balls and gone through several barbells. recently had to go to the piercing shop and get more spare balls since i since i swallowed so many. got a couple extra barbells too just in case.

wow it is hard to believe it is march 22nd already. the last three months have flown by. it is amazing to think that i have only finals left and my first quarter of school is done. one down and five more to go. best thing about the end of the quarter is spring break. this year i get to use my vacation up at work taking a spring break. i am flying to washington dc and then my sister and i are roadtripping. starting in virginia and then driving through north carolina south carolina and winding up in atlanta georgia. going to cnn headquarters and the coca cola museum and then heading out again. to alabama and mississippi and then back to alabama and on up nashville country town. we are staying there for two nites and spending a whole day there. if anyone knows anything cool to see there let me know. then its drive to kentucky and then back to virginia and home kinda. gonna be a lotta driving but should be fun. while i am there I get to see my aunt and sister that also live out there. this is a stress free trip which will be lots of fun and lots of driving. i think we will be in 11 states total counting when i leave and return.
so peace out to everyone. studying like a foo' and i suppose after finals i should be packing as well.
have a great last week of march everyone and to those in school study hard and do good. for me it vacation time to the east. |

hey all. i dont think i updated my journal since the first few weeks of school. so much has happened since then. school is going really awesome now. now all about the body and starting massage techniques soon so then i will need all those people that want free massages and will let me practice on them. went to see gary allan at the casino a couple weeks back and what a good show he is so awesome. played his songs so well and not bad to look at either. cant wait to see him at wefest along with keith urban and kenny chesney. all of whom i will see in concert once before wefest. anything else new i started my hunter education class to get gun safety done with to hunt that is pretty exciting. met some new friends been hanging out with them along with everyone else. lately i have developed a craving for laffy taffy and eat them like by the handful.
not much else going on in life now. got three weeks left of school then going on a roadtrip for my break from school and to use up vacation. should be lots of fun.
gotta finish the 2 10 page papers i got to write for classes and study for a huge test.

Today is my first day of school in my program Massage Therapy at the Minnesota School of Business. I am super excited as it should be lots and lots of fun but challenging as well. During the course of the program you have to practice on lots of people to learn your massage techniques. I will be looking for anyone that wants a free massage or is willing to let me practice on you. I am even getting my own table so I can come massage you practice individuals in almost anywhere.
Well its off to school so yeah catch you all later its time go to learn about the body and massage. |

its been a couple weeks since i posted but now i have lots of good things to report. my computer that was broken well it died and now i have a new computer. it is super fast and has lots of cool things best part it comes with an lcd screen which is pretty cool. it is so nice to be online again talk to people but the better part is having internet again and the best part i can play freecell again.
that is the first bit of good news. the second is very cool. i wrote a poem in 7th grade and always held unto it. about two month back i submitted it to a poetry contest for fun thinking maybe i would have someone tell me they liked it or how to improve it. instead i got a letter back telling me i was a semi-finalist in the international poetry contest where i submitted my poem. it made it on to the final round which is awesome. next cool thing i am getting it published in a book that i can buy and everyone else can to. my poem will be on its own page and then i can put stuff about it next to it. wow that is a cool surprise i wonder what will happen with the poem, i guess i will find out soon enough.
i had more good new but right now i cant remember it. i guess that is what working all nite will do to you. just a note it is officially 4 weeks until school starts. i am pretty excited for that. once school starts anyone looking for a free massage let me know and you can be a practice person for me...
now its finally time for bed before another fun filled day begans.

not an update in a while but nothing has gone on in my life but work. a couple weeks back i saw dierks bentley at the quest which was pretty cool but at the same time i was really sick so not as fun as it coulda been. all the jobs are going great. at wally world i am unloading the trucks on the weekends which means i dont have to work all nite, because of this i no longer have to close the liquor store down on weekends instead i open it. it will be nice since i wont have my back to back double shifts of 34+ hours a weekend anymore a definite bonus.
today i am heading out to north dakota to visit a good friend of mine who had a baby 6 weeks ago. seen pics and the kid is adorable. gonna be a nice long drive on not much sleep but that is ok cause when i get home tonite i can finally sleep for once. sad news for me though i came home from work tonite and my monitor or my entire computer died. it wont reboot or start up or anything. i must of got a virus or something. i know my computer is 5 years old but it needs to keep working at least today wasnt a convenient day for it to go kaput. oh well sometimes things dont always work the way you want them too. good thing i work work three jobs so that if the computer really did die i can work on getting a replacement one or something. well i am off to finish my little things head to bed and a north dakota road trip.
for those that see me online. i will not be back online until my computer is back up and running that could certainly be awhile although i hope not.

for any hunters out there or anyone that like hunting stories i got one for you. while working the liquor store yesterday a guy comes in with his buddy talking on his phone and buying beer. his buddys' hunting story. I was out turkey hunting and I heard turkeys i front of me and turkeys behind me. so i started shooting and then i heard no no no. there where people around. as it turns out though no didn't hit any people nope just a bunch of decoys. what a great hunter he must have been. guy buying beer them says to him "see this is why you shouldn't be allowed to have a gun" then proceeded to ask him if he was coming over to have some beer and hang out ( the guy bought 5 cases) needed a few friends to help him finish 120 cans i guess..
the poor hunter but what i should be saying is i am getting my firearms safety license soon and then you all might be saying "heather you should never be allowed to use a gun" i could do the same thing.
it cracked me up thinking in the future...
